Review & GIVEAWAY: "I Thee Wed" by Savannah Leigh

Drew and Lily sitting in a tree (or a church garden)
K-I-S-S-I-N-G (and then some)
First comes sex
Then comes marriage
Then, well, we’re just not sure what comes next.

Lily Kramer accepted Drew Hamilton’s marriage proposal but it wasn’t a traditional proposal. He wants her to marry him so his mother, who has dementia, will know that he got married. Lily, an over-thirty wedding planner, doesn’t see any other offers of marriage in her future so she accepts. Now she has to plan a wedding that looks and feels like a real wedding, but isn’t.

Drew doesn’t want a relationship, but he wants it to look like he and Lily are married, including living together, so that everyone believes.

Will they be able to pull it off? Will Drew’s mother succumb to the dementia before the wedding? Will Lily be able to shield her heart and still have the wedding of her dreams?

I Thee Wed is the follow up novel to With This Ring (a novella) but can be read as a stand alone book.

With This Ring
For Lily life is comfortable. She is a wedding planner and at 34 she's been through enough ups and downs in her relationships that she has no plans for marriage. She has a dress and dream, but no expectations that they'll come true. Her business is in turmoil and the weddings that are planned are in no way going as planned. When she finds the rogue groomsmen during a wedding she finds more than she expected. He's mind stopping gorgeous.
Drew knows his best friend shouldn't be marrying her. She's a heartless  bitch. When the soon to be bride jilts his best friend he can't help but laugh. He warned Nick. When Drew goes out to the garden he finds a beautiful scene. The wedding planner on a bench with a bottle of champagne. What he wouldn't give to have her.
Could an impromptu hook up lead to more?

I Thee Wed
Can arrangements be made and kept?
As Lily and Drew make a deal it seems to good to be true. It's a simple business deal right? Good chemistry makes complications and confusion is abundant with these two. This book is full of steamy scenes. It's a wonderful romantic story though. It's "Crazy Cat Lady" meets "The Bachelor" with a little bit of "Fatal Attraction".
There are some down right funny moments that'll have you laughing until you cry. Lily's mother is hilarious. We all have a relative like her. Anyone who's dealt with the disease dementia will understand what Drew is thinking. He's the perfect thoughtful son and man, unless your Brandy.
I could say so much about this series, but hate spoilers so what I'll say is this is a MUST READ. It's a wonderful quick flowing read that will have you reading it from beginning to finish. I am so glad that at the end of this book it's a complete story, but there are other characters that could be written about for the series. I'd love to see what happens for Nick and Sierra.
This is a 5 Star Read.
A fairy tale series.

Forget Prince Charming and Cinderella,
Lily and Drew is a much better read.
