Review: "Resurrected" by Mia Fox

Resurrected
They’ll risk everything – friendship, love, even their lives.

Samantha’s choice...

Samantha doesn’t remember the incident that landed her in the Romani Realms, a purgatory filled with trapped souls, where fears influence reality. Her gift of knowing whether a soul is pure draws her to the mysterious Daniel, and her heart soon follows. Unexpectedly, she also experiences a deep kinship and the overwhelming urge to help the girl others fearfully refer to as “The Reckoned.” Will she sacrifice her newfound love to save a stranger?

Charlotte’s guilt...

Charlotte believes her dalliance with the evil Raven’s protege and lover, Phineas, is what caused Samantha’s demise. Armed only with the Amulet of Pollux, a pendant that contains secrets from the past, Charlotte time travels deep into the Realms to find her friend before Raven does. Clinging to the hope that Phineas may still help and love her, she will risk her own life to bring Samantha back.

Suki’s trial...

It’s up to Suki to save both girls, even knowing her powers will be limited. With the help of her protector, James, Suki prepares to face the dangerous obstacles awaiting her. But once in the Realms a terrible secret is revealed that threatens their relationship and her very existence.

Review

Everyone is stuck in the other dimension still as Resurrected picks right up where Released closed. The Romani Realms turn every thought, fear, and tremor against you unleashing nightmares unforeseen. Be prepared to sit on the edge of your seat. Nothing is as it seems and boundaries are blurred. Who is against who and who is being played will be questioned again and again.

Will they ever escape?

Who makes the triad?

Is this the end?

Just when things seems like they are at the worst there glimmers a hope, but time and time again Raven appears. Why oh why does no one ever have a gun when she's flying in the air? Where's a good bird hunter when you need one? I thought this was it, she was finally gone and booyah, the bitch is back. I loved the ending of this book. The question of who and what shadow was is spectacular. The answer is even better. I almost cried when we found out. Let me say, I LOVED Released, but this book was even better. I hate to say it, because it means that Raven is still around, but I am really looking forward to the next book.

What becomes of Daniel?

Will Shadow appear again?

Is there ever a Happily Ever After?

Resurrected is easily a 5 Star book in a thus far 5 Star series.

The Romani Realms has hit it out of the ball park this time and into another realm.

I can't wait 'til the time it is Returned.
