Tainted fills in all the gaps from Twisted. We find out what happened when Drake went to LA and hit it big. How his struggle with drugs got worse and what prompted him to make hard decisions. We also find out more information of how the epilogue from Twisted came to be about. Where and how did it happen? You definitely need to read all the books in this series in order.

I loved the scene from the cemetery. It cemented to me how much I wanted Chloe and Drake to have a HEA. Tainted is the book where we see the romantic side of this couple, not as much of the physical side. I'm curious how many books will be in this series. This is the last book for Chloe and Drake, but the other characters will get their day.

I'm so glad I read this series and loved the addition of this book. It truly wrapped up everything that was left out that you wanted to know and brought the whole story full circle. The ending was perfect!!! This is a love triangle, love story that will stick with you well after your done reading it.

5 Stars for this book!

Chloe has had a hard life. Never wanted, never loved. Always taking care of herself, until Amber and her family took her in. Then there's Logan her best friend, the one person that she can always rely on. She decides she's going to WVU and going to leave the past behind. This her chance at a future and the possibility of leaving her mother behind.

What happens when everything changes though? When she sees Drake it's like something has jump-started in her. She's never been one to gush over a guy. Her best friend is gorgeous, that she can admit, but Drake is the bad boy and he makes her melt.

Torn is a story of denial, pain, and confusion. When emotions are confused, sometimes the timing is just off. Mistakes are made and decisions need made. Every time Chloe thinks she has a hold on things, something slips.

I loved that I knew the places mentioned in the book being a WV girl myself. The writing is flawless as you move through all the emotions of a girl stepping into womanhood and making mistakes. As she finds the answers and owns her emotions she becomes an adult. The ending is mysterious, a bit of a cliff-hanger, but luckily the other books are already out.

A 5 star book,
a rock girl becoming a rock woman.
A womanizer falling in love.
This is what a romance is made of:
hard decisions and plenty of angst.

Chloe and Drake's relationship is finally going great. Nothing can take them down now that they have overcome their insecurities. What happens when trust becomes an issue? Sometimes even when the demons of our past are put to rest it doesn't take much to waken them back up.

In Twisted, the most innocent of circumstances can be twisted in lies and no one is spared in the game. This book has new players, but they all effect Chloe and Drake. Will they make it together? Who else will be hurt?

This book is even more emotional than Torn. I thought Chloe was wrapped up in insecurities in Torn, but in Twisted we see that Drake isn't quite as macho as he lets on. The barriers come down and the real Drake shown. I loved the first book and the second one is even better.

5 Stars all round for this book and this series.
