SynopsisFor Savannah Rae, the thought of living in her picture-perfect world was almost too much to comprehend. With her dream job, a family she could finally call her own, and the beginnings of the best chapter of her life, she still couldn't shake the unnerving feeling that it was all too good to be true. The thought of a life without Savannah was incomprehensible to Tate Connors. Never in his wildest dreams did he think he would find his girl in the form of a sassy, stubborn, beautiful Australian. Finally he had the girl and life he so desperately wanted, but he still couldn't ignore the fear that it would crash around him. When Tate’s past becomes his present and Savannah’s present becomes her past, the possibility of a future together collides head-on with reality. In her darkest days, the words Just Breathe provided a peaceful comfort to Savannah from the heavens above. Now as she and Tate go down the path of new beginnings, brutal endings, and the constant craving of a happily ever after, they are anxious to learn how to Breathe Again.
This series is literally amazing!
In Just Breathe Savannah is on her way to LA from her home country of Australia. She has experienced the loss of her parents at a young age which devastated her. The her only love cheated on her and when he committed suicide blamed her for doing it. How does a girl move on from that? Savannah finds peace in one night stands and tequila. She searches for her prey, lives by her rules, and enjoys it. That is until she sees Tate. A player knows a player and he is definitely a player. When he turns out to be her best friends twin the sparks fly and it's Game, Set, Match.
Breathless is told from Tate's point of view. He and Sav have had a tumultuous relationship. The trust issues are always there. When Savannah has to go to New York the distance is enough to undo Tate, but when you add Blake and Chelsea to the mix it's a recipe for disaster. With more than just themselves to think about Tate and Savannah have the past to overcome so they can move on to their future.
Breathe Again is told from both the view points of Tate and Savannah. It's broken into two parts and is full of the emotions that make up the couples entire existence. This book reveals many secrets of Tate's life. Things that leave his head spinning and could forever affect him. Will he ever get over his father leaving him and except the fact that he'll be a great father?
For Savannah there is always the loss of her parents ever in her mind as she wishes they could have met Tate and their grandchild. When events send her to a point of her darkest days coming back to haunt her she has to be strong. How much is too much and could the wrong choices cause her to lose what she wants for her future?
Be prepared for some shocking events in this book. Just when everything seems perfect, that's always when Tate and Sav's world gets tilted on it's axis. Time and again this couple fights for each other, their future, and the happiness they want together for their unborn child.
This book is the last in the series and has a clean ending with no loose ends. We can see what's in store for our favorite couples. Breathe Again is full of touching moments and the always expected laughter that comes from this tight knit group that has formed a family.
This book is two parts so it's 10 stars. It is an awesome ending to a crazy, maddening, and irresistible series. These are three books that are not to be missed. I would love to see some spin-off series for Mr. D and Blake. This was a fresh series to read. It's not full of overdone scenarios, instead it keeps you on your toes wondering what will happen next.
