It was a chance meeting
That changed everything
Before only one man loved me
Now two do
One is my husband
The other a lover
I didn’t cheat
We had a threesome
But the problem was what followed
My lover wanted more than one night
My husband got angry
My lover got dirty
And I got overwhelmed
A struggling writer, Kelly is losing control in all aspects of her life. She's juggling a part time job, full time mother & wife, and writing. Her craving to write is wreaking havoc on her marriage. When her husband Tom mentions going to a sex club, she is leary. All is smooth at the club though. That is until Eric walks in and his eyes scorch her body. He's everywhere and she can feel him before she sees him. When he approaches Tom and Kelly for a threesome, the couple accept. It's the decision that will effect many in the long run and may just be something they regret.
I'll be honest, Tom and Eric may be hot, but they both have asshole tendancies. Tom doesn't do the simple things like holding a door open or letting Kelly enter a room first. He may be a wonderful father and husband, but I have to wonder why he lit the fuse to a time bomb. It seems like Kelly gets the blame for them needing to go to the sex club, but if he came up with the idea I wonder if he's the one with the problem and should get the blame.
Then you have Eric. He's suave, deboiner, addictive, and needy. How needy? You'll find out. He also surrounds himself with people who aren't a positive. Natalija is beautiful but crazy and not in a good way. His associates in business are also his friends from the club. Mixing business and pleasure isn't known to be a good thing.
I really liked this story. It's not your typical read of a couple who partakes in a threesome. When I read the synopsis I automatically though I knew where this would be going. I was completely off base and so glad that I was! This one is full on. It's a read that includes problems with children, family problems, choosing right or wrong, and blurred lines. This book has so many levels to the story that you can't get bored and the scenes are amazing. The after dinner scene is hot enough to make your tablet malfunction.
I love the ending. It's not a cliff-hanger, but it does leave it open to set up the next book in the series. I really hope that book comes out soon! It looks to be a doozy and action filled yet again.
This book is 5 stars.
You'll feel emotions of a parent, lover, and child.
Is it implied consent or cheating?
Is it ok if your partner is there?

I opened my eyes and looked up at him. He was standing over me, wearing only a towel, his body glistening from not being dried properly. A line of water ran down the curving Maori tattoo on his right arm, dripping onto the carpet. He had the type of body made from a construction site—powerfully built and tanned, his muscular biceps and six-pack not from a gym. He pushed a hand through his wet brown hair, the stubble from last night gone. He was delicious, but all I wanted was for him to get dressed and go to work, so I could get back to the countless messages I had to answer. There were too many to deal with, all to do with my writing. My thoughts made me feel guilty, even more so since Tom was staring down at me with need in his eyes, the proof pushing at his towel. But, I was overwhelmed with work, overwhelmed with stress, and I really didn’t need him adding to it.
About the AuthorNATIONALITY AND CULTURAL CONNECTIONS: I'm a true blue Aucklander, born and bred in New Zealand. I tend to write about cultures I have connections to, such as Croatian and Maori. I would love to visit Croatia again as I have family there. However, in My Masters' Nightmare, I have started writing about Italians . My husband is part Italian and I also have a degree in Italian.
SPORTS: As a teen my favorite sports were karate, badminton, and running. I also did unarmed combat and played in a touch rugby team (my gym teacher made me do the last one!) Now, I stick to coaching soccer and running. I have completed two marathons, numerous half-marathons and one 30K run.
CAREER PATH: I started off as a Graphic Designer, then went to Auckland University, where I got a BA degree in Art History and Italian Studies and a post-graduate Honors degree in Art History. I worked in the Art History field, then became a full-time artist, doing commissions. I eventually lost all of my senses and gave it up to be a poor, starving writer, smh.
FAVORITE FOODS: I'm vegetarian. I love pasta based foods, tofu, chocolate mousse and golden queen peaches.
BAD HABITS: I'm a major procrastinator that can't seem to earn money to save myself!
STATUS: Married to my high school sweetheart (which he hates me calling him). We have two kids.
