Book Description

March 3, 2015

When Talia and Erik leave Washington after UNITED's attack on TOXIC, they have no idea that the war has just begun. The Talented are about to lose their citizenry, their status, their entire lives.
With the Creation drug wreaking havoc on Erik, the couple relocates to Eden - an island community of Talented refugees from around the globe. Though it's supposed to be paradise for the residents, where they can live without fear or containment, Eden turns out to be anything but.
Before the duo strikes out to save their brethren, they must first help an old ally who's proven to be an enemy in the past. But what consequences will they face for doing so? And what will happen when a ghost materializes with an ulterior agenda?
New alliances will form. Truths will be revealed. And the lives of all of the Talented will be forever changed.
It's go time.

REVIEW

This book fills in the blanks after Erik is rescued and Talia joins UNITED up to the rescue of Kenley. This book shows how Erik is adapting and how his relationship with Talia has evolved. This gives us the complete picture of what all has happened. It will even make you like Brand just a little.

Enemies become tolerable and people appear that shouldn't. If you think trust is coming to easy, it probably is and shouldn't be trusted. This book has many spins to it and a whole ton of developments. Sometimes pushing to far is just that, too far. Other times it seems like a setup.

I like that this book has Talia and Erik coming closer together. There seems to be a whole new level of intimacy here and I don't just mean physical. There's a rawness that I didn't feel as much as did with this part of the story. They are suddenly more human to me and less super hero like.

I will warn you though, by the end of the book I was fuming. Now I have to know what happens next. The story never ends and doesn't slow down at all. I was worried this would start to wind up the series. I don't see that happening for a while though.  I don't want to ruin this book for anyone, but it got me from left field. This is an absolute read for the series!

"Sophie Davis" is the pseudonym for two best friends, roommates, and now writing partners. The pair met at Penn State's Dickinson School of Law in 2005 and instantly bonded over their love of great books and bad horror movies. After they graduated, when one longed for the ability to read minds so she wouldn't have to study for the bar exam, a Saga was born. When the Talented Saga went on to be an internationally bestselling series, the girls decided to throw caution to the wind and follow their shared life-long dream of being writers.

The duo currently lives in Washington, D.C. with a poodle and a rescued mutt. The pups are their faithful companions--with frequent social media appearances--as the girls navigate the world of Indie Publishing.
